‘A lot of people don’t realize how much of a difference the new steps can make’: Cartoonist explains how ‘Koko Head’ is changing the way people think

Cartoonist Koko Head was inspired by his mother and the work of the iconic artist William Beck.

It was an opportunity to create a work of art that he felt could help people understand the art form.

He told The Washington Post that the new drawings of his cartoon stairs are an extension of his mother’s work.

He told the newspaper that she wanted to help people feel comfortable and that the drawings are meant to help others understand what the stairways do.
