Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis announced Wednesday that the team will move to Los Angeles, the team announced.
Davis has already purchased the 49ers and is expected to make a decision on the 49er relocation to Los and then on the LA Raiders to begin play in 2019.

The new stadium will be a major boon for Oakland, the league’s second-largest city, as the Raiders hope to become a dominant franchise in the Los Angeles market.
It will be the first time the Raiders have played in a stadium larger than their current stadium, at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
In addition to new stadiums, Davis said he would also build a $400 million training facility in the Valley, which will provide a pathway for the NFL’s elite players.
Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said he hopes the facility will be in place by the end of 2019.
The Raiders will begin play at their new home in 2021, Davis confirmed to reporters.
